Diocese of Shreveport Catholic Schools Tuition Assistance Fund

We provide partial tuition assistance on an as-needed basis to Catholic students who are registered in a Catholic school within the Diocese of Shreveport. Families may apply for funding through the Diocese’s tuition assistance fund. Additionally, scholarship opportunities via partner organizations may also be available to supplement support.

Who is eligible:

  • Catholic students enrolled in a Catholic school within the Diocese of Shreveport

  • Families demonstrating financial need, using a confidential application process.

  • Assistance is partial—not full tuition coverage—so families should plan accordingly

How to Apply 

  1. Contact your Catholic school for a tuition assistance packet. 
  2. The application process is facilitated through FACTS Management—our trusted third-party service. 
  3. Submit the completed application with necessary documentation by the specified deadline. (Please check your school or the Diocesan office for current deadlines.)
  4. Awards are determined based on available funds, demonstrated need, and timely application submission.
  5. Once you’ve applied, you will receive notification of any award and the appropriate next steps.
FACTS Management

Arete Scholars Application

Arete Scholars Louisiana offers K-12 families in Louisiana the opportunity for tuition assistance through the Tuition Donation Credit (TDC) Program. To qualify, students must reside in Louisiana, meet prior-schooling requirements, and fall within set income guidelines. Funds are limited and scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis when all eligible documentation is submitted. Upon award, the scholarship is sent directly to the school after enrollment is confirmed.
