At the Catholic Diocese of Shreveport, the Office of Development works to nurture the Catholic community’s generosity and to secure the resources needed to sustain our ministries, schools, parishes, and outreach efforts. What we do

• Fundraising & Philanthropy – We coordinate diocesan-wide campaigns, engage major donors, build legacy-giving programs, and cultivate support that ensures vital ministries flourish.

• Donor Relations & Stewardship – We steward the generous gifts of our donors with transparency, gratitude, and accountability, ensuring that each contribution is honored and directed to its intended purpose.

• Planned & Legacy Giving – We provide guidance on planned giving options so that supporters can leave a lasting legacy for Catholic education, vocations, and ministry in our diocese.

• Supporting Parish & School Initiatives – We assist parishes and schools with development strategies, grant writing, and donor-engagement efforts so that local initiatives receive the support they need.
